Continuous water quality intelligence for modern water networks

Utilities are bringing more data together than ever before. But water quality in the distribution network remains one of the most incomplete parts of the picture.
Intelisys provides the continuous water quality data layer — building long-term understanding of how water quality behaves across the network and helping utilities protect customers, demonstrate outcomes and manage their networks with greater confidence.

Transform today’s network models with
continuous water quality evidence.

HydraClam, ChloroClam and the Clam RTU collect water quality and supporting measurements at selected locations. The Clamnet portal brings the readings together for review, configuration and sharing, helping teams interpret changes in their operational context.
Continuous measurements of chlorine, turbidity, conductivity, temperature and pressure provide the temporal evidence needed to calibrate hydraulic models, improve understanding of network behaviour and quantify the benefits delivered by operational and capital interventions.

Build the water quality intelligence layer for tomorrow’s digital twins.

The future of distribution network management lies in combining continuous water quality datasets with hydraulic models, asset information and operational data to create digital twins that support evidence-based operational decisions, optimise investment and demonstrate customer outcomes.

Useful details make installation points and the data collected good evidence

The lightest configurations need no civils and no external power supply, so a location can be instrumented, moved or recovered without a construction exercise. That is what makes it practical to place instruments where the decision is rather than where installation happens to be easy.

The HydraClam devices use a patented flushing control that clears the sample path before each measurement. For configurations using automatic flushing, the sample path is flushed before measurement to help obtain a fresh sample from the main. The installation and flushing settings must suit the connection length, flow and sampling arrangement.

Using the measurements appropriately

Trends and alerts can guide investigation and assessment of operational controls. They do not identify every contaminant or independently establish microbiological safety or statutory compliance.
